About

The Toronto Metropolitan Ukrainian Students' Club (TMUSC) was founded in 1980 when the university was still known as the Ryerson Polytechnical Institute.

In 2022, the Ukrainian Students' Club at Ryerson University became the Toronto Metropolitan Ukrainian Students' Club, following the university's name change due to Egerton Ryerson's ties to the Indigenous residential school system. 

​

Since its inauguration, much like the university, our club has undergone changes — having also been revived in 2009 with a new team and new initiatives. However, one thing remained and continues to remain constant: our love for Ukrainian culture, traditions and food! Through various events and fundraisers, we have been able to uphold these values regardless of the challenges in our way.
